Niseko is located in South West Hokkaido, an area renowned for deep powder skiing. Niseko resort is part of the Annupuri Range which extends to the Sea of Japan to the West. On the southern side there is Hokkaido's ‘Fuji of the North,’a volcano that rises to 1,800 meters.
