We are based in Japan and have been in operation for 15 years. Having an intimate knowledge of the mountains and locales enables us to craft amazing ski journeys. Our experienced guides instruct you mountaineering ski skills and skiing techniques on off-piste terrains through our guided programs.

Our Guides
Bring together a collective experience gained from years working for guiding operations in Japan and abroad. They are certified through their individual country’s guiding associations as ski guides, or full mountain guides IFMGA/UIAGM. They are also certified mountaineering ski / avalanche course instructors.
Your Safety
Our daily operation involves monitoring the weather and snowpack, and this dictates all our decision making. A safety plan is in place for each of our guiding areas. We also maintain good communication with the local emergency authorities which is essential for backcountry trips in Japan. Our guides are certified avalanche course instructors and instruct you snow / avalanche safety through our guided programs. We also offer avalanche courses.
Our History
After ten years of working as a ski guide in between Canada and New Zealand, I found myself living in Tokyo, married to my wife Toshie. A desire to be back working in the mountains prompted a search to find the most ideal ski location for a guiding business. Fifteen years ago, we packed up a van and departed Tokyo for Hokkaido, lured by the constant precipitation and deep snow. Over the years, we have seen Hokkaido go from somewhat of an unknown, to a popular ski destination. We strive to keep ahead of the game, and to provide an unparalleled ski product.
