Sky to Sea Traverse (Annupuri Range)

Ski Hokkaido’s Mt Fuji, bathe in thermal hot springs, eat delectable Japanese cuisine and stay at traditional Japanese guest houses on this ski traverse in Hokkaido.

On the 5 day and night trip of the Annupuri Range, we will ski from Hokkaido’s famous resort area of Niseko to the coastal town of Iwanai and then one of Hokkaido’s most famous dormant volcanoes, known as the ‘Fuji San of Hokkaido.’ Travel distances are short between lodges so as to get as much skiing in as we can each day.

Each night we will be staying in traditional Japanese hot-spring lodges where you can experience Japanese culture and enjoy the comforts of Japanese hospitality and service. You will sleep in private tatami mat rooms on futons which are laid out each night. Backcountry days are finished in the lodge’s hot thermal springs before sitting down to a delicious Japanese dinner in the comfort of a yukata, or robe.
